Conley Willox Public Affairs worked with ANZ’s Institutional Bank on editorial development for a new publication directed and personally distributed to the CEOs of the top 1500 companies in Australia. The magazine’s aim was to inform and engage CEOs with the best thinking and writing in corporate finance, management and strategy, and to help position ANZ in thought-leadership.

Asialink at the University of Melbourne

We devised and implemented a media strategy for Asialink’s high-level government and business dialogue, resulting in widespread positive representation for the organisation and the issues. In 2009, Conley Willox Public Affairs helped Asialink launch two major initiatives: the Asialink Essays series and the PricewaterhouseCoopers Melbourne Institute Asialink Index of Asia engagement.

 
   

The Asia Education Foundation

The Asia Education Foundation is dedicated to promoting and developing knowledge and understanding about Asia in schools. We developed new concepts for national conference reports, redesigned and wrote guidebooks for teacher study tours, and prepared submissions for Government on studies of Asia in Australian schools. In 2009, we helped launch a new broad based Business Alliance for Asia Literacy.

 
   

The Australian Government>

As part of the Australian Government’s humanitarian program, “Destroy a Minefield”, we devised a national media strategy and a corporate launch, prepared newsletters, shell press releases and other support materials, and wrote Ministerial speeches. The campaign raised awareness and support for demining in Cambodia, where five million mines still claim casualties many years after war has ended.

 
   

The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore

Working with the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, we established a Free Trade Taskforce of experts to explore competition policy issues, manpower and other trade matters. The taskforce helped identify and report members’ concerns to the negotiators working on the United States Singapore Free Trade Agreement.

 
   

Corporate Community Day

Conley Willox Public Affairs initiated an award-winning Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy for the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. Beginning with a Corporate Community Day, supported by the United States Embassy in Singapore and Singapore’s National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre, the strategy grew to include a workplace HIV/AIDS initiative and inspired 30 companies and 900 volunteers to develop community partnerships and collective action.
